Gala Success

To the editor:

Our board is grateful to the 116 men and women who joined us June 17 in our Gala of Grace: Compassion for Families with Cancer. We depend entirely on donations to raise money for local families coping with cancer, to help them cover the costs of day-to-day life at a challenging time. We also thank the 56 merchants and individuals who donated items or experiences to our successful silent and live auctions, as well as 28 restaurants that donated gift cards. It was a great blessing that French Valley Vineyard donated its lovely venue free of charge. Let’s continue to join together to let our friends and neighbors with cancer know that they’re not alone.
