Celebrating the Fourth of July

Another Fourth of July has come and gone and we sure did have lots of fun celebrating America 250.

The most amazing thing, in my opinion, about the Fourth of July on the Leelanau Peninsula is having Declaration of Independence readers like Rink Smith, among many other reciting the Declaration of Independence in the morning of July Fourth.

That along with flag raising, parades, hot dogs, fireworks and a couple Leelanau made beverages makes you thankful to still live in the true meaning of “Small Town USA.”
