When the Glen Lake Woman’s Club awarded a scholarship to Glen Lake graduate Opal Pousho, they were investing in a young woman’s future.
They never imagined that, just a few years later, she would help create a new fundraising opportunity that would benefit future scholarship recipients.
The Glen Lake Woman’s Club’s primary jewelry fundraiser has long been held during its annual Art Fair in mid-July. Thanks to the generosity of community members who donate jewelry throughout the year, however, the club now receives more donations than can be sold during one event.
