How many birthdays?

To the editor:

America will enjoy many more birthdays as long as we vote and elect people that believe in America and the American people. On November 5, 2024, I went to vote in person with a photo ID. My wife was in the ER at Munson Hospital in Traverse City. She was very sick. A neighbor was able to obtain and bring a voting ballot to her room in the ER. She wanted to vote so much. She filled out the ballot and my neighbor returned it to be counted in the 2024 Presidential Election. A few hours later she was taken to another room where our family had gathered. The doctor told us that she was dying. It was a bad night and she passed away at 10:35 a.m. the next morning, of septic shock. I watched her take her last breath and stayed as long as I could.

To all of you Great Americans that will have the opportunity to vote in many more elections, please don’t squander that privilege. Millions of Americans through the wars gave up all of their tomorrows so that we can enjoy that privilege.
