The Swim for Grand Traverse Bay, a 2-mile, point-to-point, open water swim benefiting The Watershed Center Grand Traverse Bay, will take place on Saturday, Aug. 8, in the west arm of Grand Traverse Bay.
Registration is currently open for swimmers, support paddlers, and volunteers who play a vital role in making the event safe, successful, and enjoyable for participants.
“The Swim for Grand Traverse Bay is a unique opportunity for our community of passionate swimmers to experience firsthand the waters we all work to protect,” said Christine Crissman, executive director of The Watershed Center Grand Traverse Bay. “Every year, dedicated volunteers help create a safe and memorable event. We encourage anyone who cares about the health of Grand Traverse Bay and enjoys being part of a meaningful community event to join us.”
