The Leelanau County BOC accepted 2% allotments from the Grand Traverse Band (GTB) of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians totaling $20,000.
The 2% program stems from the consent decree settling Tribes v. Engler, in which the (GTB) agreed to pay 2% of its video gaming revenue to local governments and nonprofits in its service area, twice yearly.
Four awards to Leelanau County entities were approved July 16.
