The Board of Commissioners and Leelanau County Senior Services Director Lena Vandermeulen had a testy conversation over a request for proposal made at Tuesday’s regular meeting.
The senior services motion ultimately passed 6-1 as Will Bunek was the only county commissioner to dissent.
The request would allow VanderMeulen to negotiate with five organizations that provide senior services to county residents.
