For years, I remember going tothepolls —orsittingatmy kitchen table — worrying the system had lost my registration information or feeling frustrated because I knew so little about some candidates. Over time, I’ve learned some ways to make voting less stressful.

First, check your registration information at the Michigan Voter information Center at https://mvic.sos.state.mi.us. You’ll also find your polling location and a sample ballot for your precinct there.
