Bay to Braman Bolt moves to early August

Northport’s signature foot race, the Bay to Braman Bolt, returns Sunday, Aug. 9 after moving from Labor Day weekend to the beginning of August. The date change allows more college students to participate before returning to campus.

“Moving The Bolt to early August gives more college students the chance to come home and conquer Braman before heading back to campus.”

For the first time since its founding in 2018, the 1.1-mile race moves from Labor Day weekend to the beginning of August, with registration opening at 8:00 a.m. at Northport Marina and the race beginning at 9:30 a.m.
