Singer/guitarist Jabo Bihlman is the next act up at The Homestead. That’s up as in up the hill: the blues-rock artist will perform Aug. 5 atop the resort’s ski hill as part of the Music On The Mountain concert series.
Bihlman and his band will showcase a number of songs familiar to his fans and fans of his bands the Bihlman Brothers and Grinder Blues. He has cultivated a decades-long career as composer, singer, guitarist and producer, and is an Emmyaward winner, having had music on shows like “Big Sky 211”; “All my Children”; “Manifest”; “Sons of Anarchy”; “Burn Notice”; and most recently ”Cross” on Amazon Prime.
Bihlman boasts a lifelong love of the blues and blues-based rock, listening to guitar heroes like Eddie Van Halen, Joe Satriani, Alex Lifeson of Rush, and Steve Ray Vaughan.
