After months and discussion and debate, Glen Arbor Township’s offer to purchase the neighboring Martin property has been rejected.

At the township board’s July meeting last week, supervisor Tom Laureto confirmed that Wendy and John Martin have rejected the township’s buy/sell agreement.

“They had a willingness to continue dialogue with the township and they recognize the growing need for additional space and support the townhall property. Primary concerns expressed are the uncertainty around a future public vote and the perception of a divided township board,” Laureto explained.
