‘Sophomoric handling’

To the editor:

Another week and another headline about the debacle going on in Leelanau County government, this time about credit cards. First of all, why are they trying to blame the two women who are currently doing the job? Clearly, it says that statements since February were not reconciled correctly and wrong payments were made. How did Mr. Cowan and Mr. Dyer let that happen? Something as simple as reconciling a credit card statement?

And now someone wants to blame the current person doing the job for the problem. And of course, Mr. Dyer says he doesn’t know what she’s talking about. That sounds about right for a man who cannot take responsibility for absolutely anything he’s done wrong.
