A tumultuous period in Glen Arbor finally came to end Tuesday evening. After battle lines were drawn and much mud was lung, voters favored Glen Arbor Township’s recreational rezoning of the Brammer parcel next to the historic grist mill on the Crystal River. *** Tempers flared at special budget workshop session of the Leelanau County Board of Commissioners last week with one commissioner accusing the county administrator of being untruthful and another calling for recess to “cool off the rhetoric.”
