Trapper Ron Baker and Kathryn Holmstrom-Baker of Northport marked their 40th wedding anniversary this week.
The couple was married Aug. 2, 1986. They celebrated the milestone with children and grandchildren July 27 at home with a catered meal by Chef Fredericks Wood-Fired catering and then traveled to Mackinac Island for a stay at the Iroquois Hotel.
The Bakers met one another in seventh grade. They have two sons and one daughter and four grandsons.
