11:57 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Someone was walking around on his property to hand out a flier and they walked into his garage.
10:48 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township— White BMW driving very fast. Ran caller off the road.
11:20 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township— Deputy out with a vehicle. Sobriety tests given. One in custody for operating while intoxicated.
Thursday, July 30
7:07 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Repossessing Ford Escape.
8:51 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Anonymous caller requesting law enforcement look into forged deeds/powers of attorney.
9:59 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Parking violation. Subaru.
10:57 a.m. — Empire Township — Caller on M-22. Large yellow box truck came into caller’s land and almost ran him off the road. Other driver was on his phone.
12:56 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Cherries are being spilled on the roadway.
4:06 p.m. — Bingham Township —Paverstoneswere stolen from residence today.
4:12 p.m. — Solon Township — Caller needs to report identify theft. Received a letter that account was opening in her name.
5:46 p.m. — Bingham Township — Northbound vehicle behind caller, Black truck. Hauling a boat. Weaving into oncoming traffic.
7:45 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Assisting Grand Traverse with a possible shots fired situation.
Friday, July 31
9:16 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller has not heard from subject in three days which is unusual and would like him checked on.
10:19 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township— PBT requested for employee suspected of intoxication.
4:03 p.m. — Leland Township — Caller has ongoing issues with boaters in front of her home. People out of boat. Last time this happened was advised to call marine patrol.
4:56 p.m. — Kasson Township — Disorderly person.
8:20 p.m. — Empire Township — Possibly fireworks or Tannerite coming from this area. Second night in a row. Caller not sure what address.
10:01 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Possible violation of the Controlled Substance Act.
Saturday, Aug. 1
9:16 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Boy, 4, has been missing about three minutes. Caller called back. Just found her son. No longer needs a response.
10:43 a.m. — Leland Township — Found wallet.
12:40 p.m. — Cleveland Township —Domestic.
2 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Someone coming to post office in the last couple months and hanging political signs on the boards inside and also putting them on the outside windows.
2:44 p.m. .— Leelanau Township — Mountain bike was taken from between the public restroom and playground sometime between July 29 and 30. Was not chained.
2:56 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Blue Geo on Coleman Road. Swerving. Crossing center three or four times and almost hit several vehicles.
4:52 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Green Subaru Cross Trek all over the road. Turned left onto the Tart Trail.
9:28 p.m. — Bingham Township — Small black VW sedan pulled in. There is a female, south end of the parking lot stumbling around and seems “out of it.”
11:04 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Caller reports hearing a man screaming in the woods to the north of his residence. (Nothing suspicious found per law enforcement.)
Sunday, Aug. 2
1:04 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller advised by credit union last night and alerted to fraud activity on the account. Suggested that they file a police report.
3:07 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller owns half of a house and caller has been informed the utilities have been shut off for a couple weeks.
3:10 p.m.— Solon Township — Neighbor cut down cedar trees on her property line. Civil matter property line dispute. (Caller was advised that she needed to have property surveyed.)
9:28 p.m. — Leland Township — Silver vehicle. Driver arrested for operating while intoxicated.
Monday, Aug. 3
12:33 a.m. — Cleveland Township — Man on bike, rang caller’s doorbell and left. Caller caught up to him and asked if he rang the doorbell. The guy on the bike said he did but he thought it was the “Gray residence” which it wasn’t.
2:04 a.m. — Cleveland Township — Dog at residence on the corner of East Mountain view Trail and South Bay Bluffs Drive has been barking for a long time.
9:23 a.m. — Kasson Township — Wallet found in the middle of the road.
9:44 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Someone opened an AT&T account in caller’s name. Defaulted on payment and now caller is being contacted by a collection agency.
10:02 a.m. — Kasson Township — Wallet taken from vehicle sometime last night.
1:20 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Roommate was arrested and other roommate is stealing all of her stuff.
1:21 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Neighbor has been cutting and killing bushes on caller’s property. (Trespass warning issued.)
1:43 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Fraud on caller’s credit card. Needs a police report.
4:20 p.m. — Solon Township — Someone broke into caller’s house. Second call. Still would not give any information beyond initial statement.
5:29 p.m. — Kasson Township — Wallet found in the bathroom.
5:46 p.m. — Leland Township — Found Irish Setter. Dog brought to the Sheriff’s Office. “Ginger is in the kennel with food and water.”
7:14 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township— Caller would like a welfare check on her children. (Welfare is set. No issues. Will contact caller, per law enforcement.)
9:26 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township— Fireworks from across the lake. Caller doesn’t want to be seen. (Park ranger went through the area and was out of the car for a little while. Did not hear or see fireworks.)
9:49 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township —Male on the side of the road walking, possibly intoxicated. Wobbly. Looked as though he was veering into traffic. (Individual fine. He was just walking home.)
Tuesday, Aug. 4
12:03 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Family trouble.
10:52 a.m.— Leelanau Township — Caller saw a man sitting along the road. Caller turned around to check on him “and he said he needed rehab.” Area thoroughly checked. Unable to locate.
12:07 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller found a dollar bill in parking lot.
12:49 p.m. —Empire Township — Neighbor a few houses down. Said a man keeps ringing his doorbell. (Info given about how to get a personal protection order.)
4:22 p.m. — Kasson Township — Subject threatening staff and screaming at others.
6:17 p.m. — Kasson Township — Burgundy Jeep all over the road.
10:03 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller is very upset and needs assistance with her Volkswagen that she drove off the road. Now stuck in the ditch.
