Republican incumbent Jack Bergman was projected the winner in the Michigan 1st District GOP primary Tuesday, defeating Justin Michal and Matthew DenOtter.
“I’m incredibly grateful to the Bergman Brigade and the thousands of voters across northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula who once again placed their trust in me,” Bergman said.
This victory belongs to every volunteer who knocked doors, made phone calls, put up signs, and stood with our campaign despite millions of dollars in false attacks.
