‘Lingering … past trustee’

To the editor:

This past special township meeting made one thing evident: no one on the Leland Township Board can be relied upon to act in the best interest of our community.

That distrust, once limited to the supervisor and two trustees, now expands to all members of the board, including our Township Clerk. Newer board members lack both the background in township affairs and the commitment to learn, while long-standing members appear to have simply bowed to the supervisor’s directives.
