The July 25 edition of the Enterprise reported that Leelanau Township will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, August 13 at 5:30 p.m. to review a proposed tower on top of Braman Hill Park.
I’m writing to appeal to all those that love Braman Hill Park and all it’s amenities to voice your opposition to such a proposal. Why? A new tower, located less than a mile from the existing ATT tower, can only provide limited call coverage for Verizon users, it does nothing for AT&T users. The proposed site finished 4th in the Township’s 2021 propagation study of the most desirable sites, Kitchen Road being #1.
