As vineyards begin to transform with the colors and excitement of harvest season, the Leelanau Peninsula Wine Trail welcomes wine enthusiasts back for its annual LP Harvest Club, taking place throughout the month of September.
Designed to celebrate one of the most beautiful times of year in northern Michigan wine country, LP Harvest Club gives participants the opportunity to enjoy exclusive wine club-style benefits at participating wineries across the Leelanau Peninsula.
Guests can explore the trail at their own pace while experiencing exceptional wines, breathtaking vineyard views, and the warm hospitality that make the region a premier wine destination.
For $75 per person, participants receive a commemorative LP Wines wine glass and a Harvest Club ticket, which provides exclusive benefits at participating wineries throughout September ( excluding Saturdays). Each winery offers a special Harvest Club experience, including a complimentary wine flight, tasting, or glass of wine (offer varies by winery), along with 15% off bottle purchases.
Unlike a traditional weekend wine event, LP Harvest Club allows visitors the flexibility to create their own itinerary throughout the month. Whether planning a weekend getaway, visiting multiple times, or enjoying a leisurely day exploring the peninsula, guests can experience harvest at their own pace while taking in scenic vineyards, vibrant fall colors, and award-winning cool-climate wines.

Participants choose their designated starting winery when purchasing tickets on Eventbrite. Upon check-in, they will receive their commemorative wine glass and Harvest Club ticket before setting off on a self-guided journey to participating wineries throughout the month.

The Leelanau Peninsula Vintners Association (LPVA) is a member-driven, winery association founded in 1998. The mission of the LPVA is to spread the word about all the good things happening along the Leelanau Peninsula Wine Trail. The trail is divided into three mini-trails for easy touring: the Sleeping Bear Loop, the Northern Loop and the Grand Traverse Bay Loop.
The Leelanau Peninsula AVA is home to 25 wineries located within diverse microclimates uniquely suited for a variety of wine grapes. Among the internationally acclaimed varietals are riesling, pinot grigio, chardonnay, pinot noir and cabernet franc. The local wines continue to achieve national and international accolades with each passing vintage.
