To the editor:
Producers are the foundation of our society. This concept is from the author Ayn Rand. Producers are independent workers, scientists, artists and industrialists who create real value by producing actual goods and products, through innovation, skill and physical effort. They generate the resources that we all rely on. Next come the Looters. The Producers’ bounty is looted by corrupt government officials and very powerful billionaire oligarchs and corporations who have paid to have our tax and other laws written to further enrich themselves and disenfranchise those who actually produce the goods. Their gigantic political donations control our elections and our media now. They produce nothing of value themselves. Their money does not “trickle down”, it moves up. A third category are the Moochers, they produce nothing but simply support the Looters, politically and otherwise. Yes billionaires are people too, and a few show some compassion for others but most have too few moral scruples and strive for just two things. More Power and more Money, not for the good of others or our society whom they could easily help. Our biggest billionaire Looter in Chief? Donald Trump, a convicted felon. He enriches himself, his family and his cronies and enables others to do the same. He tore down the East Wing of OUR White House with zero legal right. We have the worst health care, high prices, a pointless middle east war and corruption of our government on an unprecedented scale. Vote for change this November.
