Marsha Centner Buehler, managing director of the Omena Historical Museum, was honored at the Omena Historical Society (OHS) Annual meeting today for her efforts in securing the addition of Omena to the National Register of Historic Places.
Buehler was recognized for her research and tenacity in pursuing the National Historic Recognition, which was granted in 2017. She is a long-time Omena resident and has volunteered with the Omena Historical Museum, also known as the Putnam-Cloud-Tower House, since it was moved to the village 20 years ago.
This year’s annual meeting was held at Sunset Lodge in Omena.
