Lakers head back to school

Glen Lake opened the doors for the 2026-27 school year on Monday, with renovations still ongoing as teachers and students hit the books.

At its last board meeting before the school year, Glen Lake announced a “bell-to-bell” cell phone policy for its high school students last week.

Phones are not locked up and can be used in emergency situations as of now. The board discussed the need to tighten this new protocol.
