7:30 a.m. — Bingham Township — Dog running loose in the roadway. Owner arrived trying to corral the dog. Dog is running around Veronica Valley County Park.
11:38 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Wife slipped out of chair, needs help getting up.
2:24 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller gave information to his credit union.
3:50 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller was driving back from a dental appointment and found a vehicle blocking the entrance to caller’s property with a pile of gravel.
4:06 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Subject has been trespassed from the property surrounding the easement.
9:45 p.m. — Bingham Township — Loud party or wedding going on and caller would just like them to keep it down or turn the music down.
Thursday, Aug. 27
9:09 a.m. — Leland Township — Husband/friend was out for a run. He sent them a text “send the police.” Caller determined her husband was with an injured person at Chandler and he is OK.
9:22 a.m. — Elmwood Township ¸— Individual was previously trespassed from this location. Has him under arrest and will be transporting to Leelanau County Jail. (Investigation and report from the TCPD.)
1:03 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Caller’s brother has been trespassed from this property. He is currently at the back door messing with the garden hose.
1:05 p.m. — Bingham Township — Caller tried to pass a Porsche a while ago. They cut in front of caller’s truck and brake checked them at 75 mph. Slowed down again, while trying to pass. He sped up so caller couldn’t pass.
1:34 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Caller feels harassed by a subject. They are posting personal information about him and he has nothing to do with them. He asked them to cease and desist which only seems to escalate the situation. Would like to speak with law enforcement about his options.
4:08 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township —Subject threatened to beat up caller.
4:26 p.m. — Bingham Township — ID stolen. Logged into account with bank. Fraudulent checks.
9:09 p.m. — Elmwood Township— Young girl running across the road between Grandview and Pico Drive. She was alone in a light-colored nightgown carrying a stuffed animal. Caller just thought it was suspicious with what she was wearing and she was alone.
Friday, Aug. 28
12:07 p.m. — Leland Township — Caller was working. Dog came. Pit Bull mix. Came across the street and aggressively approached caller. Nearly bit her.
1:59 p.m. — Centerville Township — Caller says “The German Shepherds” are loose again in their neighborhood. Caller wants to speak with animal control about the situation.
2:47 p.m. — Centerville Township — German Shepherd running in and out of the road.
3:29 p.m. — Solon Township — Caller bought property and part of the property transfer includes parcels that belong to caller and two others. Subject has removed survey stakes and is now cultivating property that belongs to caller to use for a drain field.
7:20 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller’s neighbor target shoots. Caller doesn’t believe they are doing it safely. Caller wants it for record at this time. Will call back if they want to speak with law enforcement.
8:23 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Caller reports sheen on the water and the smell of fuel. Unsure where it is coming from.
Saturday, Aug. 29
11:23 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Woman cursing out of her window.
4 p.m. — Empire Township — One in custody for trespassing.
6:51 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Law enforcement flagged down by someone. (Issue has been resolved.)
11:15 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Dark brown cow near the roadway north of Farm Club. (Owner got the cow back.)
Sunday, Aug. 30
1:44 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Silver Jeep stopped. Sobriety tests taken. One in custody for operating while intoxicated.
7:34 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Golden Retriever found.
7:38 p.m. — Caller reports wife is not returning children per custody agreement.
Monday, Aug. 31
8:57 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller reports that he was walking in the driveway. Dog barked aggressively and bit caller in the back of the leg.
11:07 a.m. — Elmwood Township — There’s been no activity at a house for days. There are multiple animals in the house that have been abandoned. At least one of the dogs is aggressive.
1:48 p.m. — Solon Township — iPhone crash notifications. No answer on call back. (Child riding their bicycle. Phone fell out of his pocket.)
8:51 p.m. — Kasson Township — Problem with one of the residents. Keeps banging his door. (All parties spoken to, per law enforcement.)
10:47 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Female flipped her golf cart after drinking alcohol. It did land on top of her. She is conscious and breathing. Complaining of arm pain. Golf cart is no longer on top of her.
10:52 p.m. — Kasson Township — Caller has an injured bear in their yard.
