An estimated 9,300 persons celebrated the Cedar Polka Fest last weekend.
“We didn’t know how (the latest date in the calendar) would impact us,” said Lisa Brett-Rosi, executive director of the Cedar Polkafest Foundation, adding that many schools are already in session. “We were a little under on Thursday and Friday, but Saturday was crazy and more than made up the difference.”
The event, spread over a fourday period, included live music; a car show; arts and craft fair; the kielbasa run; children’s activities; and six food vendors.
