Mill Pond Dam information available online

Information about the Mill Pond Dam’s condition and engineering, as well as other millage ballot question documents, is now available in one place on the Village of Northport website’s home page.

Since the Northport Village Council’s approval of placing the Mill Pond Dam Millage on the November general election ballot, council trustees have discussed providing factual information regarding the dam itself and millage proposal at regular meetings leading up to the election.

At the council’s work session on Sept. 3, the Mill Pond dam’s condition and engineering was the focus of discussion, and trustees noted the numerous accessible documents online for the public to learn more about the issue and the state of the structure.
