The Leelanau Township Board Tuesday scrapped a proposal to construct a communications tower at the Braman Hill Recreation Area.
It was the second such proposal to be considered in the past 21 months.
In January 2025, the Leelanau Township Zoning Board of Appeals, upheld a Planning Commission denial of a special use permit to construct a communications tower off Kitchen Road.
