The Glen Lake Tennis Team continued their string of success this fall season with a first-place victory in a tournament in Whitehall and a second-place outing in a tournament at Traverse City Central over the weekend.
“We continue to compete well with big schools and strong teams from all over the state.” Glen Lake coach Fisher Sutherland said. “People are struck by the talented tennis players Leelanau County is producing.”
In the Whitehall tournament, Glen Lake players that went undefeated in all three of their matches were senior Hawthorn Sutherland at #1 Singles, Owen Pierce at #3 Singles and Levi Lamb at #4. In doubles, Bryce Cundiff and Luke Selby at the second flight, Garrett Bridges and Brodie McKeller at 3rd doubles and Aiden Doher and Aiden Lang went undefeated at four doubles.
