To the editor:
Leland was built by generations of families—names like Stander, VanRaalte, Carlson, Burda, Bunek, Telgard, and others. They sustain Leland because they believe in it. To survive and thrive, Leland needs such residents who are willing to serve, selflessly. Stacey Brugeman is one such individual, and I support her for Leland Township Trustee. Stacey has a transparent, nonpartisan understanding of life in Leland. She demonstrates that commitment to this town is not just living in it, but serving it. Stacey and I don’t agree on every issue, but she listens, cares, and wants to represent others. This is democracy.
