A showdown is brewing at Glen Lake tonight between the Lakers and Traverse City St. Francis Gladiators at 7 p.m.
Both teams have their backs against the wall in this rivalry matchup after a pair of losses.
Glen Lake (2-1) fell to East Jordan 20-19, and Traverse City St. Francis (1-2) traveled to Jackson Lumen Christi for a 45-0 loss last week.
The Gladiators (1-2) took it to the Lakers (2-1) last season with a 30-6 win. The Glads lead the series 15-5.
The Lakers won nine straight after a season-opening loss to the Gladiators last season. Tonight will be the second match-up since before the pandemic in 2020.
Traverse City St. Francis has had Glen Lake's number on the Gridiron as the Glads lead the series 15-5.
