Leland’s Aubrey Rousseau led the Comets volleyball team to its first win of the season with 21 digs after defeating Brethren 3-1 Thursday 25-20, 25-17, 26-28, 25-19 Leland’s Harmony Johncox had 26 assists, while Ruby Popp had 11 kills, 13 digs and seven aces along with Sluiters 16 kills, 13 digs and seven aces.
The Comets (1-11) fell to Traverse City St. Francis last Wedesday in three sets.
