9:31 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Northbound on Co. Rd. 641. Black Jeep swerving all over the road at varying speeds.
12:38 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Assault and battery.
2:42 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Male fell on his head but doesn’t want to get treatment. (He’s fine. Very coherent, per responders.)
2:50 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller is concerned about an individual who is malnourished and living in a a pole barn.
4:33 p.m. — Leland Township — Someone stole caller’s political sign between 1:30 and 1:45 p.m today. Sign was put out Tuesday.
6:09 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Air conditioning unit in the road.
9:22 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller is reporting a man who she thinks is homeless. Acting suspicious. He’s in the alley.
Thursday, Sept. 17
9:17 a.m. — Cleveland Township —Caller has road commission permits to shut down one lane of the roadway for agricultural reasons for two, three hours blocked.
10:45 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — House being built next door and construction workers are parking on both sides of caller’s driveway making visibility impossible when she is trying to leave her residence. (Law enforcement will speak with construction crew but explained to caller that they are not in violation of any law and are as far off the road as possible.)
1:15 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller said someone is calling and threatening her life. (Confirmed bank scammers.)
3:40 p.m. — Leland Township — Male in his late 80s drove into parking lot and both his front tires are flat. He can hardly stand up straight. Caller doesn’t think he knows where he’s at but not physically insured in any way.
4:54 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Male in wet suit on a stand up motorized surf board heading toward the boat launch back and forth from the Homestead area. (Only issue is it doesn’t look to the caller like he is wearing personal protection device.)
6:42 p.m. —Bingham Township — Caller hears what sounded like a gunshot across the street. Two shots about five minutes ago. (Law enforcement in the area doesn’t hear anything.)
Friday, Sept. 18
3:18 a.m. —Suttons Bay Township — SUV idling in the lot for over an hour. (Per law enforcement, there was a man sleeping in his car because his family (staying in the room) snores.
11:29 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller is being kicked out. (It is a civil landlord/ tenant dispute. Law enforcement provided advice to the parties to move forward.)
11: 29 p. m.— Leelanau Township — Two aggressive dogs have been in caller’s neighborhood a number of times. Large white and black husky mixes. Approached caller growling and there was no one around. Neighbor reported that the two dogs surrounded him while he was mowing his lawn. He had to fend them off with his mower.
Saturday, Sept. 19
10:13 a.m. — Empire Township — Caller says race participants are using Michigan Street to access the event and are speeding on the residential street. Requests additional patrol.
4:46 p.m. — Leland Township — Female Pomeranian. Gold. No collar or tag. Has burrs. Dog brought to the Sheriff’s Office kennel. Dog picked up.
5:58 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Car flew backward into the ditch. Both subjects are intoxicated. Porche Carerra. Silver.
11:39 p.m. — Kasson Township — White Suburban swerving all over the road at varying speeds. Vehicle stopped. Sobriety tests administered. Deputy requests emergency medical episode. One in custody for operating under the influence of drugs.
Sunday, Sept. 20
12:42 a.m. — Solon Township — Violation of the Controlled Substances Act.
12:01 p.m. — Leland Township — Caller went to Van’s Beach, came back 30 minutes later and the car is gone. She has the keys. Black Kia Soul. (Upon arrival, caller drove up in her black Kia Soul and proclaimed she “found it.”) 10:37 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Suspicious vehicle at the Suttons Bay boat launch.
Monday, Sept. 21
1:19 p.m. —Cleveland Township — Caller provided bank account information to someone who said they were with the Federal Trade Commission. Said her husband has a warrant.
5:03 p.m. —Cleveland Township — Black Honda sedan northbound. Swerving across center and fog line.
5:20 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township —Caller was pushed off his bicycle.
5:29 p.m. —Suttons Bay Township — Someone was blackmailing caller’s sister. Caller confronted via email and they started sending caller large digital files of pornography.
10:33 p.m. — Bingham Township — Caller reports a drone across the street is flying at all hours. The issue is it has a siren and also has a recording that states “get out.”
