Suttons Bay senior Isaac Martin is in a class of his own as the Norse forward broke the school record for career goals with 36 Friday against Charlevoix.
“Breaking the record felt really good, this was something that I was working towards all season … I went out there without any pressure and just played our game. It really just felt like another goal towards the team and just in an effort to try and win that game,” Martin said.
Suttons Bay senior James Bunek scored the first goal and Martin scored the record-tying goal off a breakaway. The Rayders would score three in the second half, but the Norse wouldn’t go away.
