For the past four years, local students have been coming to the Glen Arbor Arts Center after school to paint, work with clay and try something new.
Through a partnership with Leelanau Investing for Teens (LIFT), the Arts Center offers free after-school art classes for local middle school students.
More than 180 students have taken part, trying everything from ceramics and painting to needle felting, gelli printing and fused glass.
