The 29th Annual St. Mary School Golf Classic was held at Sugar Loaf Old Course on September 26, raising more than $18,000 to benefit St. Mary School and its students - a fundraising record for this event. The golfers were treated to a beautiful, sunny day for this fun-filled annual event. Congratulations to the winning team of Trevor Kay, Alyssa Kay, Jake Kiessel, and Glen Fries. The team took home a trophy and a round of golf generously donated by Northport Creek Golf Course. Following the 18-hole scramble, the golf committee raffled off a variety of prizes to the players, adding to the fun and excitement of the day. The event once again brought together St. Mary families, alumni, local businesses and community members for a day of friendly competition and fellowship in support of Catholic education. The proceeds from the Golf Classic will directly benefit St. Mary School and help provide opportunities and resources for its students. Events like this are an important part of the school's fundraising efforts and allow the St. Mary community to come together in support of its mission.
