In the pursuit of extending the Heritage Trail, we need to stop and consider the end cost of thisgoal. Climatechange has detrimental effects on all of us, and this extension defies our battle against it. 7,000 trees in exchange for 4 miles of additional trail? Surely, you jest! Let’s not make regrettable decisions with the ruthless destruction of one of our best defenses against environmental pollution: forestry. Thisisaselfish plan of ruthless decimation for a short bike ride.
