The 19th Annual Freshwater Summit is set for Oct. 21, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Hagerty Center at Northwestern Michigan College.
The Freshwater Summit brings together researchers, resource professionals, educators, local leaders, students, and community members to learn about current freshwater issues and the work being done to protect the Great Lakes.
“We are thrilled to host this event that provides our community with the latest research and information regarding the health of our Great Lakes,” said Christine Crissman, executive director of The Watershed Center. “We have another great lineup of professional speakers who will explore current challenges, emerging research, and opportunities to advance freshwater conservation across our region.”
