Knizacky signs the dotted line; Cypher continues as interim admin

The Leelanau County Board Commissioners didn’t have to force Fabian Knizacky to become the new interim finance director—he signed on his own Tuesday.

Knizacky fills the gap left by Rio Risbridger, who served only six months before a fiery exit last week.

“This was Fabian’s first day, and we had a meeting with several department heads, and I’m looking forward to learning from him for the depth and wealth of knowledge he can provide,” Interim Leelanau County Commissioner Lauren Cypher said.
