7:56 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Possibly a Chevy SUV swerving all over the road, into the grass, no brakes.
9:31 a.m. — Solon Township — Request for traffic control. Will be shutting down the control device and directing traffic in all four directions.
11:38 a.m. — Kasson Township — Suspicious incident reported. Caller says the individual sent his daughter inappropriate photos on Snapchat.
2:55 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller reports two individuals claiming to be contractors walked into his house. Trespassed them from the premises. Individuals reported to be in Dodge Transit van.
4:27 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller was driving by and saw a huge cloud of unnatural colored smoke and thinks that there are illegal materials being burned.
4:33 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Caller saw a man and woman on their deck walking around. Heard them talking about having to “tear up the deck to the beach.” Then they realized they were on camera and departed. The caller called back stating the caretaker had a gentleman come over to check something on their behalf without letting the homeowner know.
5:05 p.m. — Bingham Township — Report that someone has removed a 3x3 instructional sign on the side of their building at the boat cleaning structure at the boat launch. Someone has removed the sign and reinstalled it on the east side of the building.
5:22 p.m. — Bingham Township — Automated iPhone message, involved in an accident near this intersection. No voice on the line. Can hear traffi c going by. No answer on call back. On arrival, an iPhone was found in the middle on M22 apparently where it fell off someone’s car.
5:34 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Three males in their 20s in the neighborhood. Seen at a picnic table in an empty lot at the end of the culde- sac. Individuals reported to be in an Audi.
6:05 p.m. — Elmwood Township — A problem with trespassers. Usual offender is there now.
Thursday, Feb. 8
12:38 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller reports someone banging on their door.
4:15 a.m. — Kasson Township — Caller reports that a friend called her and has been arguing with her boyfriend.
Friday, Feb. 9
4:23 p.m. — Centerville Township — Caller delivering for UPS, says several packages there that have not been opened. House appears to be in bad shape, concerned for anyone living there. On arrival, the packages had been taken in. No one answered the door.
Saturday, Feb 10
9:56 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Someone got a hold of the caller’s key and entered the condo while the caller was not there. Caller let someone stay there in July for a week. Things are missing.
12:34 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Ongoing problems with trespassers.
10:33 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Ford pulled over. One person in custody for operating while intoxicated.
Sunday, Feb. 11
12:51 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Brown Subaru headed west bound on 72, possible drunk driver. One person in custody for operating while intoxicated.
2:15 a.m. — Bingham Township — Black Chevy pulled over. One person in custody for operating while intoxicated.
1:10 p.m. — Empire Township — Caller chatting online with counselor stating she is in active labor and has suicidal ideation. Caller lives with boyfriend and has possible domestic violence concerns. No one coming to the door, neighbors have not heard anything. Owner of the house gave permission to walk through house, searched, no one was there.
Monday, Feb. 12
10 a.m. — Centerville Township — Ford truck with big trailer backed up to caller’s pole barn. Two males got out and were looking into the windows and tried the door knob but did not knock. Caller lives down the road and saw this after the fact on his ring camera footage. Caller has a bent fence but reports people did not take anything. Footage was too blurry for plate.
8:40 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller saw a backpack in Northport yesterday near the gym and went back there today and noticed it again. Picked it up and brought it home.
Tuesday, Feb. 13
7:23 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller advised that his phone was hacked and he is receiving 700 text messages an hour. Explicit material. (Caller was given advice on how to get help to remove the unwanted items.)
7:54 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Dark SUV has been sitting for a couple of days. No one around. The end is sticking out into the road. Caller didn’t get a plate.
10:28 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Violation of the controlled substance law.
10:43 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Repossession of a 2019, black BMW.
