Brugeman, Independent

To the editor:

Given the growth of some unpleasant politics in Leelanau the past few years, it makes sense to elect as our new Leland Township Trustee a political Independent (listed on the ballots as “Non-Partisan”). That would be Stacey Brugeman, a highly competent candidate who can weigh and decide township issues on their merits, without deferring to either political party.
