A group recently formed this month by two parents aims to make information coming out of Northport Public School more transparent for the public going forward.
The Northport Parents Organizing for Responsibility and Transparency (N-PORT) group is administered by Jamie Scripps and Kristi Fischer, two Northport residents active in the community who say that they care deeply about the future of Northport school and have serious concerns about the district’s leadership.
They not only believe the community deserves transparency and accountability but have created the group to connect with other parents who have faced challenges at Northport school and have not felt heard.
