Macke honored with MSU award

Leland R. Macke of Cedar graduated in December from Michigan State University’s Supply Chain Management Program with a perfect 4.0 GPA, the highest accumulative GPA in the graduating class of fall 2023.

Leland R. Macke of Cedar graduated in December from Michigan State University’s Supply Chain Management Program with a perfect 4.0 GPA, the highest accumulative GPA in the graduating class of fall 2023.

In his youth, Macke attended Lake Leelanau St. Mary from kindergarten through eighth grade and finished his high school career at Glen Lake, where he was awarded the “Sophomore Scholar of the Year”in 10th grade.

Macke has accepted a position with Pepsi Co., to help them open, in Denver, the country’s newest and largest bottling facility. Prior to graduation, Macke completed internships with both Johnson & Johnson and Kimberly-Clark.
