The last Maple City dedication:

Community members are asked to share in the joy felt by Emma and Jaccob as they move into their new home in Maple City Crossing. The home represents the last unit sold among three duplexes built by the Habitat for Humanity Grand Traverse Region organization in the Crossing development.

Community members are asked to share in the joy felt by Emma and Jaccob as they move into their new home in Maple City Crossing.

The home represents the last unit sold among three duplexes built by the Habitat for Humanity Grand Traverse Region organization in the Crossing development. An open house is planned at 8518 S. Maple Street in Maple City for 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 6. All are invited.

Emma and Jaccob, whose last names were not provided in a Habitat press release, lost a baby son, causing Jaccob to take a leave of absence from his job and the couple to move in with Emma’s parents while grieving. Both found new jobs and were adjusting to parenting and working when they applied for the Habitat program just before Christmas.
