Christmas decorations are up in most areas, it is one of my favorite times a year, Christmas. It’s amazing, people seem to have much better attitudes and other than shopping lines are happy and having fun. When driving up or down the Leelanau Peninsula on M-22, many commuters pass through the scenic commercial district of Suttons Bay. The downtown area is the very picture of a small lakeside American town with the marquee of the Bay Theatre, a family-owned department store, Bahle’s, and several buildings in between. Suttons Bay's newest spot for craft espresso and small bites, Hive Coffee Co., hosted its softopening just last month and have been busy meeting customers and other business owners in the area ever since.
