Effective 6 a.m., today seasonal weight and speed restrictions will be imposed on all Leelanau County Roads, with exceptions as listed below.
All weight limitations will be in accordance with the Michigan Truck Commission/ Michigan State Police, Motor Carrier Division Manual.
No verbal permits will be issued. Overweight permits will not be issued during this time.
The following Leelanau County roads are all season routes and not subject to weight restrictions:
• Co. Rd. 614 from Co. Rd. 641 to 633
• Co. Rd. 616 from Co. Rd. 669 to 651
• Co. Rd. 618 from Co. Rd. 641 to 633
• Co. Rd. 633 from M-22 to Co. Rd 618
• Co. Rd 641 from M-72 to Co. Rd. 618
• Co. Rd. 651 from M-72 to M-22
• Co. Rd. 667 from M-72 to M-22
• Co. Rd. 669 from Benzie County line north to M-22
• Kasson Center Road from Co. Rd. 669 to Newman Road
• Nash Road from Valley Road to Co. Rd. 616
• Newman Road from M-72 to Valley Road
• Richter Road from Eckerle Road to Suttons Bay Village wastewater treatment facility
