Steven Bernard Denoyer of Lake Leelanau passed away Monday, December 30, 2024 at Sunnyside Senior Living. He was 68. Steve was born September 11, 1956 in Traverse City to Leonard and Phyllis Denoyer.

Steve proudly served in the United States Army. He retired from Leland Public Schools after 39 years as the Director of Maintenance and Transportation.

Steve was passionate about being involved in his community and was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church in Cadillac. He enjoyed socializing and connecting with people through his favorite activities. Most importantly, Steve loved sharing stories of his children and grandchildren with friends and loved ones.

Steve is survived by his wife of over 20 years, Pam; children: Bradley (Tracy) Denoyer, Joshua (Janet) Denoyer, Kimberly Gordon, Scott (Ashley) Denoyer, Tracy Denoyer, John Denoyer; step-children: Brian Boos, Greg Boos, Kelly Normand; 15 grand-children; siblings: Carol ( Jim) Beehler, Yvonne (Ken) Ruby, Dennis Denoyer (Llo Thomson) and Amy (Bob) Thomas.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ken Denoyer.

Memorial services will be held Friday January 17, 2025 at 11 am at Zion Lutheran Church in Cadillac with Pastor Scott Torkko officiating. Visitation will start at 10 am prior to the service.
