Sharon was the middle child, living in a multigenerational family in Hamburg. She went to Michigan State University and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education. While at MSU, Sharon met the love of her life, John. SharonandJohnweremarriedon June 29, 1957 and had 64 wonderful years together, enjoying all of life’s adventures. Sharon loved working with children, as an elementary school substitute teacher, a Cub Scout and Brownie troop leader, and a long time Sunday School teacher. While living on Glen Lake, Sharon and John owned and ran two businesses in Cedar, Michigan for more than 20 years. She also volunteered time to support the 1937 ~ 2025
local community, school, and church.
Sharon is survived by her brother, Jim (Gwen) and sister-in-law, Mary Lou. Four children; John (Kim), Susin (Mark), Eric (Susan) and Molly (Bob). Five grandchildren; Andrew, Joshua, Keegan, Maggie (George), and CJ and one great granddaughter; Lucy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Glen, and her husband, John.
The family would like to thank Sharon’s doctors and the staff at Munson Medical Center for their care and support.
The family is planning a Celebration of Life for Sharon in Lake Ann in June.
