Borkovich fell asleep in the Lord, peacefully embraced by her family on May 18th, 2025.

Visitation and services will take place at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church 2143 S. Center Rd, Burton, MI 48509.

Visitation is 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20, at St. Nicholas, with the Parastas (Memorial) at 7:30 p.m.

Visitation Wednesday, May 21, 2025, 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Grand Blanc, MI.

Allison was born on March 18, 1932, in Flint, MI, the daughter of David and Mildred (Stikovich)Spence. She graduated from Flint Northern in 1950 and then a_ended Flint Junior College. Allison worked at Buick. She met the love of her life and married Walter Borkovich on September 12, 1953. Walter and Allison raised ve children. y loved their family and took all ve children on many trips “Up North.”

Allison spent many happy years watching her children and grandchildren play sports and loved to cheer on the Detroit Tigers and MSU Spartans. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and visiting relatives and friends. She was an active member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church. Allison was a Sunday School Teacher, served on the Church Board, and was a member of the St. Catherine’s Women’s League. She cooked delicious meals and desserts for the church, for public festivals, and the annual Cookie Walk.

Al lison is survived by her three sons and two daughters: Mike ( Jennifer) Borkovich, granddaughter Ressa, grandson Walter, John (Nancy) Borkovich, granddaughter Chelsea, grandson Luke, Bruce (Vickie) Borkovich, daughter Arielle (Ma_) Miller, great granddaughters Mila and Makayla, great grandson Judah Miller, Marla (Dave) Houser, grandson Kraig (Stephanie) Houser, great granddaughters, Brooke and Remi, grandson Mark (Carli) Houser, great grandson, Anthony Houser, Kristin ( Jim) Hart, and grandsons Tanner and Lukas.

Allison was preceded in death by her parents, David and Mildred, and her devoted husband Walter.

We give our sincerest thanks to every cousin, extended family member, neighbor, and friend who shared wonderful days and memories with our Mom.

In lieu of _owers, contributions may be made to St. Nicholas Orthodox Church.
