Evelyn-Kay Moses

SUTTONS BAY – Evelyn-Kay Moses, 87, long-time Su_ons Bay and Traverse City resident, passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2025, in Mission Viejo, California, surrounded by her loving family.

Evelyn was born on March 10, 1938, in Traverse City, Michigan, the daughter of Kathryn Esther (Keppel) and William Edward Votruba.

Evelyn married Lee Clion Moses in 1960. Evelyn met Lee while a_ending college together at Grinnell College in Iowa. y enjoyed 61 years of marriage that had them living an active life with time spent between the Midwest and Southern California, but Su_ons Bay became home for them between 1992 and 2020.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lee Moses.

Evelyn is survived by her four children Sco_ Moses, Julie Love, Peter Moses, and John Moses. She is also survived by her brothers William Votruba and David Votruba.
