Frederick George Washington Denham

After retirement Fred and Mickey became snowbirds, wintering in Zephyrhills, Florida and summering on Drummond Island. Fred volunteered time doing landscaping at church, singing in the choir, and placing flags on the veterans’ graves at the Drummond Island cemetery. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
After Mickey’s death Fred married Beulah (nee Ruegsegger) McQueen on September 8, 2013. They continued the snowbird tradition of winters in Zephyrhills and summers on Drummond until 2024.
Fred was predeceased by his parents, wife Mickey, brothers William, Harold, and Richard, sons Kevin and Craig, grandson Timothy Lee II, and daughter-in-law Mary. He is survived by wife Beulah, sons Mark (widowed) and Timothy (Beverly), eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Boardman Lake Glens, Northstar Palliative Care, and Hospice of Michigan for their loving care in Fred’s last months. He will be deeply missed.
