She leaves behind her children Remington and Sullivan Jones, parents Dan and Anka Harkness, sister Molly Pease (Adam Pease), nieces Cora and Allison Pease, and brother Adam Harkness ( Jillian Bogert). Sara’s final wish was honored and she gave the gift of sight to another in need.

A Celebration of Life will be held on September 13, 2025, from 3 pm-6 pm at the Harkness family home in Cedar, MI.
